Men are focused more on the physical world, and appear to have evolved to be more physically useful, whereas women appear to have evolved to be more emotionally aware, gentle, and nurturing. This is most likely due to women having to nurture and raise children, which is what their body is designed for. Men, however, were designed to defend, to hunt, and so on. Men are also much more interested in watching sports due to the physical nature of sports.These roles are no longer necessary in our society in present day, and the very physical nature of men that served us so well in hunter gatherer societies may now be our downfall, since men are more in touch with the primal, reptilliant core of their brain, and seek to dominate others, we have wars, power struggles, and so on that now threaten the human race, and in fact the world at large.

I am not sexist in any way, so dont think I am. The caliber of mens play compared to women is much higher. In some sports women do step up and get a chance to play in mens leagues, but usually end up giving up on that. In the sports that women played against men, such as hockey, with the tampa bay goaltender, she made the NHL, played one game and got smoked, she never tried to go back. Men have a more competitive nature and the body to back it up. Women are usually not built to be a big football or hockey player. But some of them do what they can to get to the level they can play with the men. I dont know if they are trying to prove something or what. But the reason men sports are more popular is because more men watch sports than women. And a lot more men play sports then women, men are dominant in sports. Women do not get into sports as much. And there are also a lot of sexist guys out there that feel women should not play sports, which i think is ridiculous.

That's a tough nut to crack but women's sports are slowly getting more coverage. Women's Tennis & certain Olympic events get pretty good coverage. Over all there's still alot of work to do to get better coverage.
